Day 1
9 Dec
✔ Depart early morning from West London (Southhall & Hounslow) and begin your journey to Dover.
✔ This is a 90-minute journey to Calais with fantastic food outlets to choose from, entertainment options to enjoy, and plenty of space to relax and unwind across all our routes, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding how to spend your time on board.
✔ Firstly, visit Cite Europe, an international shopping centre as well as an essential tourist stop for those crossing the Channel, Cité Europe has over 120 shops and is an incomparable “Gourmet City” with great restaurants.
✔ Then, proceed to the hotel for check-in and make our way to the Christmas markets in Lille, more than 80 chalets teem with gift ideas, nativity figurines, Christmas decorations, and festive food. You can find regional specialties here, and you can also find arts and crafts from Russia, Poland, and Québec, as well as products from Native America.
Day 2
10 Dec
✔ After breakfast and check-out, proceed to the Belgian Chocolate Factory in Oostende, Belgium, which makes not only delicious and original Belgian pralines, but also chocolate truffles, seashells, and other chocolate delicacies.
✔ An extensive, user-friendly transport network and of course the finest chocolate shops are what make Belgium so tempting for travelers.
✔ Rich in history, this destination has more castles per kilometer than any other country and the Belgium river cruises are the perfect way to see these buildings in all their glory. They allow you to explore the treasure trove of cities via a network of charming canals and waterways, taking in the scenery that hints at its medieval roots.
✔ This boat cruise will last about 30 minutes. Enjoy Bruges Market Place, a beautiful centrepiece of the city, surrounded by traditional buildings mostly housing bars and restaurants. The MarketPlace is also home to significant civic buildings like the Belfry and the attractive City Hall.
✔ The large central paved area is used for various events throughout the year including markets and an ice rink in the winter.
✔ Visit to Pidou on the way to Calais Port, this shop offers buyers from the UK great alcohol deals. There are tons different kinds of alcohol at Pidou Calais, however, a noteworthy tip is to order in bulk as Pidou Calais has special discounts when you do so. Pidou Calais also offers a free ferry and Chanel tunnel crossing service if you are looking to do so. Overall Pidou Calais offers a great price with a large selection of alcohol. ✔ Pidou Calais is worth the visit if you are looking to buy cheap wine! Proceed to Calais Port and then we take the ferry back to Dover, before arriving at your pick-up points in East & West London.
